Our pat testing service includes the following benefits for 240v appliances:

• Combined electrical inspection and testing
• Thorough visual inspection where a full inspection is not possible
• Minor repairs where possible e.g plug rewires, tighten screws, plug replacement
• Free Standard UK 13A plug and fuse replacement where required
• Strip back faulty cables on site where possible if fault has occurred near plug end.
• There is no charge for retests made on the same day
• Full hard copy detailed certificates provided
• Full detailed certificates in PDF format provided
• Brief portable appliance electrical safety report where necessary detailing any cable trip hazards and potential and actual issues that may need addressing.
• Out of hours and weekend service available

Additional charges will be made for repairs to 110V equipment and this work is not always possible on site on the same day.

Drop-off service

We now offer a drop off service for small business owners, freelancers and contractors where a site visit may be inconvenient. You simply drop your items off to us and we test them and call you when they are ready to collect. Testing can usually be done within 24 hours. Please see our price guide for more details.

All work is carried out in accordance with the IEE (Institute of Electrical Engineers) code of practice and all our pat testers are qualified to City and Guilds 2377 certification or higher.
