Pat Test Safety Limited is a Hampshire based pat testing company specialising in portable appliance testing for shops, offices, rental property, workshops, schools, construction sites and small businesses including contractors and freelancers.

It is your legal obligation as an employer or business owner to ensure that any appliance with a plug is regularly pat tested. Our pat testing engineers will ensure that we test all your portable appliances with minimum disruption which will include working out of normal hours and at weekends where necessary. We also offer a drop off service which we have found to be very suitable for freelancers and contractors.

Our current client base includes schools, workshops, dental surgeries, catering businesses, landlords and offices. We also have a growing freelance and contractor client base which has grown rapidly since we introduced our drop off service. Clients include freelance cameramen, musicians, construction workers etc.

We are based in Southampton, Hampshire and work in all surrounding areas including Wiltshire, Dorset and Surrey.

All equipment is tested and labelled and any small repairs are made on site. A hard copy report and any advisory notes will then be sent for your records

All work is carried out in accordance with the IEE (Institute of Electrical Engineers) code of practice and all our pat testers are qualified to City and Guilds 2377 certification or higher.
